Since 1958 Bessette’s Bumping & Painting has provided Lapeer County with excellent customer service and repairs. We look forward to continuing our tradition for years to come. We take the utmost care to restore your vehicle to it pre loss condition and our craftsmanship is backed by a life time warranty for as long as you own the car.
These questions are generally the first questions asked. Our goal at Bessette’s is to return your car to you as soon as possible, while taking all aspects of the damage into careful consideration, as well as all the necessary processes the car must go through to reach completion. Each vehicle will be handled on a case by case basis. The duration of a repair process is unique to each and every instance. As a repair facility we may five a verbal “guestimate” however the best way to determine the cost and length of a complete repair process is to have the vehicle disassembled and a complete estimate prepared. Once your vehicle has been disassembled you will be contacted by one of our staff within twenty four to forty eight hours. We will be able to advise you of the total cost and length of repairs at that time. We understand that being without your vehicle may be a major inconvenience, but be assured that our number one priority is to fix your vehicle properly and in a timely manner.
By definition, a deductible is the first portion of a repair, paid by the insured, before an insurance company will issue the remaining payment for any expense. Your insurance company is the only one who has the authorization to waive your deductible. Commonly when a shop states they “waive deductible” they are leaving something out of the repair process and not informing the customer. This allows them to make up for the amount they “covered”.
Any questions regarding deductible amounts and whether or not they can be waived are usually best answered by your insurance agent.
Yes. Bessette’s works with all insurance whether they are our partner or not. Michigan State law prohibits an insurance company from “steering” customers to specific repair facilities. This allows you to select the repair facility of your choice.
Don’t let an insurance company refer you to a shop that has their best interest in mind. Some insurance company’s will tell you that the repairs will not be covered under warranty if you have your vehicle repaired at a shop that is not on their approved list. This is not true. Here at Bessette’s, we stand behind our repairs for materials and workmanship for as long as you own your car. All parts are covered under the manufacturers/ suppliers warranties. It is always best to research your shop of choice by asking fellow colleagues, neighbors and family members about past collision repair experiences. Word of mouth has always been our best advertising.
Yes. This is when all proper repair and replacement procedures are performed, I.e, repair damaged parts that require repair and replacement of damaged parts that should be replaced. Highly trained, professional technicians will do the repairs on your vehicle.
